The client, a legal solutions provider in Uzbekistan, needed an AI-powered platform to enhance multilingual legal research and drafting:

Manual searches slowed response times and limited real-time insights across Uzbek, Russian, and English.

1. Intelligent Pipeline

We designed a multilingual pipeline to handle diverse legal documents and ensure accuracy across languages:

• Data scraping, cleaning, and multilingual ingestion with chunking. Indexing ensured documents were structured and searchable.
• Language-specific routing with hybrid search and BGE reranking improved accuracy and relevance of retrieved results.
• Legal prompt tuning, chain-of-thought prompting, and guardrails enabled structured responses with citations, reducing errors.

2. Prompt Engineering

We customized prompts to handle multilingual legal queries and
prevent hallucinations:

• Custom prompts were tuned for Uzbek, Russian, and English queries to handle multilingual legal scenarios effectively.
• Guardrails combined with few-shot examples and a legal dictionary minimized hallucination risks and ensured compliance.
• Prompts were refined with Cohere, following Claude’s legal tone and citation guidelines, abstaining from uncertain outputs.
